Section Engineer

Looking for a Section Engineer in the Carlisle area to work for a tier 1 contractor

This is to work on a mixture of highways & substation projects

Salary is negotiable

Responsibilities;

• Collaborate with project managers, sub contractors, engineers & trades operatives to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and schedules for your assigned section.
• Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure efficient project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve engineering challenges and ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Review and approve design documents, calculations, and drawings.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.
• Maintain accurate project records, including documentation of changes, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified or other relevant qualification
• SMSTS (Preferred)
• CSCS Card
• 2 Professional references
• Kit preferred
• Fit for work medical
