Our client’s IT function is growing, and they are looking for a SecOps Engineer.

They are a global company that are looking to make a difference and they are looking for a standalone SecOps Engineer to help bridge the gap between the Infrastructure Team and Security Team. This would be a permanent position based in Hertfordshire, with flexibility to work from home 2 or 3 days per week.

This role as a SecOps Engineer would ideally suit someone coming from a Senior Infrastructure background, for example a 3rd Line/Tier3 Technical Support type role, who has either had exposure to Security policies or would like to move into Information Security.

As aSecOps Engineer you will be planning & implementing solutions to improve their security posture, providing expertise on infrastructure & security.

It would be great if you had experience across tools like Windows Servers, Active Directory, Wintel, Ciscoetc. alongside SIEM tools, Patch Management experience, Email Security knowledge.

Experience with vulnerability scanning, GDPR, Network security, email security, Data Protection would also be great.

Cloud Experience in either AWS or Azure would be a bonus.

Good communication skills are essential for the role as you will be communicating with people across global teams.

Any Security certifications such as: CISA/CISSP, Azure or AWS certs, MCSE/MCSA would be desirable but not essential.
