Secondary - Spanish Teacher

• Job Type: Part-time (Maternity Cover)
• Working Hours: Tuesday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Contract Duration: June 2024 - March 2025 (approx.)

We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Spanish lessons across a range of year groups, from Junior to Sixth Form, and will play a key role in continuing our tradition of academic excellence.

• Delivering Spanish lessons to students from KS2 to KS5, ensuring a high standard of education.
• Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the entire ability range within the class.
• Monitoring the progress of students and providing feedback to encourage a high level of academic achievement.
• Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is age-appropriate.
• Collaborating with other staff members to plan and coordinate work.
• Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.

• A recognised teaching qualification in Spanish.
• Experience teaching Spanish across a range of year groups.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish curriculum for KS2 to KS5.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all levels.
