Secondary School General Teacher Wanted!

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects, nurturing student's intellectual curiosity and fostering their academic growth. You'll create engaging lesson plans, facilitate interactive learning experiences, and provide personalised support to help students succeed.

We're currently seeking a dedicated teacher to join our educational team in Preston, providing support to students in KS3 and KS4. The daily pay rate for this position ranges from £155 to £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching level.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Punctual and reliable
• Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
• Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
• Set homework and mark promptly
• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
• Respond to questioning

Personal attributes:

• Experience up to key stage 3/4
• QTS/PGCE equivalent
• Be flexible and committed
