Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Secondary School Cover Supervisor. We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary School in Winchester, Hampshire

Pay Rate: £110 - £202.08 per day.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

  • To act as a role model and set high expectations of work and behaviour.
  • Assist with the inclusion of all children to ensure optimal learning opportunities including dealing with behaviour issues in accordance with the school behaviour policy.
  • Respond to pupils' general queries and keep pupils on task.
  • Provide support for teachers complying with instructions/lesson plans requested by usual class teacher, providing feedback and records as appropriate.
  • Have an awareness of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection.

Applicant Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a teaching, learning, or child support setting, along with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, enabling the formation of effective relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Trained to at least NVQ3 standard and knowledgeable about educational practices, including health and safety protocols.
  • Compliance requires evidence of eligibility to work and reside in the UK, along with completion of an Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check.
