Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): While desirable, they recognize that exceptional candidates without QTS may also possess valuable expertise.
    • Passion for Drama and Music: You should have a genuine love for both subjects and a commitment to nurturing creativity in students.
    • Experience in English Teaching: As part of their curriculum, you will also teach English. Familiarity with the English National Curriculum is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver inspiring drama and music lessons that captivate students’ imaginations.
  • Promote Creativity: Encourage students to explore their artistic potential through performance, composition, and improvisation.
  • Prepare for Performances: Collaborate with students on exciting drama productions and musical showcases.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to help students grow as performers and musicians.
  • Support Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to drama clubs, choirs, and other creative initiatives.
