Secondary Music Teacher

An "Outstanding" Secondary School in the Borough of Merton are on the hunt for a Music Teacher / Music ECT for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent & full-time post.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Music Teacher who is looking for a step up. It's essential that applicants must be a specialist within a range of instruments.

The Head Teacher is looking for a Music Teacher / Music ECT who is keen to step up into a Deputy Head of Music position, and work alongside the current Head of Music to raise attainment, quality of learning and more throughout this role!

  • Music Teacher / Music ECT
  • Providing high quality lessons throughout
  • Working with the current Head of Music as the Deputy Head of Department
  • September 2024 start
  • Full Time & Permanent
  • Inner London
  • MPS1 - UPS3 + TLR (£2,500 - £4,500)
  • Located in the Borough of Merton

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must hold QTS
  • Meeting the teaching standards to an "Outstanding or Good" level
  • Confidence within teaching is essential
  • Must be able to lead from the front
