Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to secondary school students with SEND, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their academic goals.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Demonstrate a good sense of humour while engaging with students, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Utilise excellent initiative to adapt support strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure effective support provision.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with students with SEND in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of different children's needs and learning styles, with the ability to tailor support accordingly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and empathetic approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall success of the school.
• Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development opportunities as required.
