Secondary HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)

Location: Enfield

Salary: £115 - £135 per day

Contract: Temporary/Fixed-Term

Empowering Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join a vibrant and supportive school in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to make a significant impact on the learning journey of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Provide targeted support to students, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, to help them achieve their academic potential.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a HLTA or Teaching Assistant within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
