Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Contract
Salary: £37,575 - £38,769
Role OverviewAs an Exclusion Room Manager, you will work closely with students who have been internally excluded from classroom settings. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise the delivery of teaching, learning, and care to these students within the Exclusion Room (ER). Collaborating with pastoral and inclusion teams, you will instil the school's culture of high expectations and school values with the pupils you support.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Support: Manage the ER, ensuring a calm and conducive environment for excluded students.
- Individualised Assistance: Provide personalized teaching and learning support to students during their exclusion period.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pastoral staff to address behavioural issues and promote positive outcomes.
- Culture and Values: Uphold the school's no-excuses culture and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting student well-being and success.
