DT Technician Needed in Ipswich ???????

We are seeking an experienced DT Technician to support the smooth and effective running of the Design Technology Department within our busy secondary school. As a DT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, assisting teachers, and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical DT lessons.
  • Maintain tools, machinery, and resources.
  • Assist teachers during practical sessions.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Support students with their projects and coursework.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a DT Technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of DT equipment and materials.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
