We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team on a supply basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in secondary schools.

• Classroom Management: Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their tasks.
• Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Facilitate learning by following lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
• Behaviour Management: Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
• Support Learning: Assist students with their work, answer questions, and provide guidance as needed.
• Attendance Monitoring: Maintain accurate attendance records and report any issues promptly.

• Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people is required. 
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication and the ability to engage with students effectively.
• Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to fulfilling assigned duties.
• DBS Check: A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to pay £38 for one).
