We are seeking an enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join a supportive school in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role is full-time and available for at least one term, starting in April 2024.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Maths to students in KS4 and KS5.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to varying levels of ability.
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school regulations.
• Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to teach Maths across KS4 and KS5.
• Ambitious and enthusiastic about delivering the subject.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure
