This independent catering company is looking for extra chefs for the coming summer season. The brand-new production kitchen, just outside Watford, makes delicious sandwiches, cakes, pastries, brunches, canapes, salads, grazing boards and high teas for bespoke picnic baskets, outside catering, and picnic events. Everything is homemade, fresh and with a special touch. The picnic setups are really unique which include flowers, games, tables, blankets, pillows, umbrellas as well as providing bespoke touches for every client.
The job offers friendly working hours, fun staff, creativity in designing multiple products and an opportunity to work with reputable companies like Facebook, Amazon, GHD, the FA... The kitchen environment is always chatty, energetic, and fun.
Our ideal candidate with have previous experience in a commercial kitchen, possibly chalet/yacht experience, good knife skills, and a can-do attitude, a knowledge of baking would be an advantage. Someone with loads of energy, enthusiasm and a love for food and cooking.
You must be happy working mornings, weekends and at events.
5-day week 7am to 5pm
Both part-time and full-time options available
Salary: £15 an hour
Own transport is essential due to location
