Scrum Master - Hybrid working (twice a week in the office in Waterloo area, London) - Salary up to £55,000 plus benefits including up to 10% bonus, healthcare plan, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + increased days post 2 years of service & company funded training and career development courses.

The company & role

This really is a unique opportunity to join a company who have the autonomy, innovation and flexibility of a smaller business with the financial backing of a larger business. You will be involved in challenging, complex development for industry leading companies, as well as smaller start up projects. As the Scrum Master you will have a key role in driving the successful delivery of their digital products and services across the organisation and to clients. You'll be responsible for managing the product backlog across multiple parallel streams of software development, removing blockers and ultimately delivering value to the organisation.

You will be focussed on embedding agile principles, methods and practices to improve and achieve desired outcomes, working closely with the Technical Leads, Solution Architects & key stakeholders within Operations to maintain the technical & product roadmaps, understand requirements and consequently shape sprint plans. It will be your responsibility to manage technical delivery using principles of Agile methodology whilst also recognising where business priorities may need to shift work schedules.

What are they looking for

  • Experience in managing delivery across multiple software teams and complex technology
  • Thorough knowledge of agile principles and experience as a Scrum Master
  • Understanding of different agile and lean methodologies including Kanban and Scrum; able
  • to coach within and outside the team and act as an advocate.
  • Ability to lead on forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, contingency planning and
  • road mapping.
  • An understanding of hybrid delivery models with experience working with a mixture of
  • remote and in office teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences
  • with a passion for building and maintaining momentum in teams.
  • An understanding of team dynamics, able to demonstrate experience of coaching teams to
  • collaborate, resolve conflict, adapt and improve.
  • Very familiar with collaborative project tools like Jira.
  • Any Agile or Scrum certifications and experience within the eCommerce industry would be advantageous but not essential.
