Pay rate: £90.00 - £110.00 per day (depending on experience)

Active Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Mainstream Secondary School in Ilford, who are looking for an experienced Science Technician to join them ASAP, on a long-term basis with a view to go permanent. As a Science Technician, you will coordinating the use and development of practical resources and facilities and work with their colleagues accordingly.

Roles and responsibilities of the Science Technician:

• Coordinate technical support for the Science department.
• Safely ensure storage and disposal of specialist equipment.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure appropriate health and safety practices are followed for technical tasks.
• Maintenance of specialist equipment and checking for quality.
