This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of science education and support the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and experiments for science lessons.
  • Assist teaching staff during practical sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain and organise laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of scientific instruments.
  • Provide technical support for science-related activities and events.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop innovative and engaging practical activities.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in the laboratory environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Science Technician is essential.
  • A background in science or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and safe learning environment for students.
