Teacher of Science Opportunity in Harlow

Location: Harlow 

Salary: £100 - £230 per day 

Start Date: Immediately 

Contract Type: Full-time 

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists? Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive educational environment? Our schools in Harlow are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our team immediately.

About the Role:

As a Teacher of Science, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by delivering engaging and interactive lessons that foster a love for science. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for science and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver stimulating and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students

- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported

- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline

- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4

- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
