Your new school
This secondary school in Stafford is a large secondary school and always reaches its capacity ahead of new intakes. The staff here have been at this school for many years, which has kept its SLT reputation solid. You will be working at a GOOD Ofsted rated school where they are always striving for improvements to make their school as good as possible for both staff and pupils.
Your new role
You will be taking on a full-time Science role after the Summer holidays (Monday 2nd September), and will be required to teach all three sciences to both KS3 and KS4 pupils. Having a candidate with a specialism in chemistry or biology would be advantageous, although not essential. The role will require you to take on the planning and preparation required, along with being able to complete assessments for the pupils you teach. This role will be on a full-time basis. However, for the right candidate, four days would also be considered.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need to hold QTS in the UK. Experience teaching all three science subjects is essential. Both fully qualified teachers and ECT's/NQT's are encouraged to apply.

In return, you will be paid to scale (*up to MPS6) to ensure you are being treated as per their permanent staff members, due to the expectations being the same. You will be working for a school who pride themselves on having a solid SLT structure and doing everything possible to create a good working ethos amongst pupils and staff.
