Hiring Science Teacher!

Timing: 8 AM - 4 PM

Type: Full Time (Permanent)

Start: ASAP / Sept 2024

School: Students aged 11 - 19 yrs. with Special Educational Needs and associated barriers to learning, including SEMH, ADHD, Autism and Aspergers

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging and accessible science lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with communication and interaction needs and/or high anxiety.
  • Adapt Curriculum: Modify existing science curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to provide a holistic educational experience.
  • Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment where students feel valued and respected.

Requirements:

  • BA Education / PGCE / MA Education
  • QTS or Level 5
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching
  • Right To Work in the UK (NO SPONSORSHIP Provided)
  • Prior experience teaching in the UK.
