The Job Role
Educated Recruitment are looking for a science teacher based in or around the Taunton area who is driven and dedicated to educating and guiding the young minds of our future. You will be able to adapt to different environments, engage students with invigorating ideas and radiate positivity throughout the placement. You will be covering all sciences during this post.
You will be working with students across KS3, KS4, KS5, on a full-time timetable. Part-time applicants welcome to apply, job share opportunities available.

Science Teacher Responsibilities
- Delivering cover lessons
- Preparing planning if required
- Following safeguarding and school policies
- Marking work as needed
- Liaising with school staff
Science Teacher Essentials
- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history
- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum
- Reliability
- Excellent communication skills
