Science Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an outstanding school in the Leeds/Wakefield area. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4, with experience teaching their specialist subject at KS5 being an advantage. This role requires a Science Teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons and is available until the end of the academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons across KS3, and KS4.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualised and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
  • Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
  • Communicate with parents and school counsellors on pupil progress.
  • Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science.
  • Ambition and enthusiasm for delivering the subject.
  • Ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 being advantageous.
  • Commitment to the role until the end of the academic year.
