Science Teacher (0.7 Timetable) - September Start

Position: Science Teacher We are seeking a talented and passionate Science Teacher to join our team on a 0.7 timetable starting in September. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering engaging and interactive science lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and participation.
  • Foster a love for Science through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and interactive teaching methods.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Foster good behavior and discipline among students, in accordance with the school's ethos and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status with a Science-related degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant teaching experience, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting Islamic values and integrating them into the teaching and learning process.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school's ethos and community.
