Science Teacher – Alternative Provision – September 2024

This wonderful alternative provision school is looking for a Science Teacher to teach small classes of no more than 6 students, with the freedom to plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of individual students.

Leadership at this school encourage teacher to “think outside the box” and discover ways to inspire a love for learning. The Headteacher is supportive, welcoming, and committed to having a positive impact on the lives of students who have been temporarily excluded form mainstream education. As a Science Teacher you will have access to good lab facilities and be encouraged to deliver practical lessons that will cause a positive reaction from your students. Job Role:
  • Teaching Science to small classes of students who have struggled to engage in education within a mainstream setting.
  • Breaking down academic barriers and inspiring a love for science.
  • Making Science interesting for students who have become disengage with education.
  • Utilising a team of experienced Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support.
  • Delivering practical lessons that are engaging and interesting.
