We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cover Supervisor with a specialisation in Science to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across various year groups. This is a full time position beginning after the Easter Holidays. 

Science Specialist - Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and guidelines.
  • Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Managing classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Providing feedback to regular subject teachers regarding lesson progress and student engagement.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support the overall educational objectives of the school.

Science Specialist - Key Requirements: 

  • A degree in a Science-related subject.
  • Experience working within secondary schools, preferably as a teacher or cover supervisor.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management skills
