Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Hillingdon, London

Salary: £90 to £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

About Us: We are a leading education agency dedicated to connecting talented professionals with rewarding opportunities in schools. Currently, we are working on behalf of a reputable Secondary School in Hillingdon that is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities: As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in Science classes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Science teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional assistance.
  • Assisting with practical experiments and laboratory work.
  • Supporting students in their understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a Science-related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting students' learning and development.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
