*** 73% GCSE pass rate for science in 2021

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Science ECT who is committed to providing an exceptional Science education to student. The Science Department is staffed by experienced and knowledgeable teachers who are eager to support and mentor you as you begin their teaching career.

As a Science ECT, you will have access to state-of-the-art labs and equipment, allowing you to deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire and challenge our students. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Science Department to develop innovative and effective teaching strategies that meet the needs of our diverse student body.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, such as Science clubs and competitions. We also offer ongoing professional development and training to support your growth as a teacher and provide opportunities for career progression within the school.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant Science subject, a teaching qualification (PGCE QTS) and have a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
