Job Title:                          Science Academic Coach
Location:                         Secondary school, Central Birmingham
Pay:                                  £400 - £450 per week
Contract:                          September 2024 – July 2025                           
Focus:                              Specialised Support in Science and across the curriculum for low-level GCSE students

We are currently seeking four enthusiastic graduates with a strong background in science to join a fantastic secondary school situated in Central Birmingham.

As a Science Academic Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting low-level GCSE science students on a 1:1 and small group basis. Your expertise in science will be pivotal in providing targeted assistance and nurturing a love for the subject. Additionally, 10% of your role will be dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs across various subjects. While a specific degree subject is not mandatory, a genuine passion for empowering students and igniting their curiosity in science is highly desired.

Conveniently located just outside Birmingham City Centre, the school is easily accessible via public transport.
