Social Physiotherapist

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent

Location: Wimbourne Minster

Salary: £11,222 per annum

Hours: Working 15 hours each week during academic term time with regular shifts on a Tuesday and Thursday, the Physiotherapist will also offer flexibility to work some weekends and hours outside of term time.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified chartered physiotherapist to provide a high standard of physiotherapy treatments, triage and rehabilitation support for all Canford pupils and members of the School Sports Centre

Sport is an important part of the curriculum at Canford with pupils competing in events at county, regional and national level and working closely with the Head of Physiotherapy Services, the School’s Health Centre team and the Director of Sport the successful candidate will be required to ensure that pupils receive a high standard of physiotherapy and treatment. The postholder will also work closely with the Sports Centre Manager to develop and deliver a physiotherapy clinic to sports centre members and visitors.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Be a keen sportsperson.
  • Have excellent knowledge of a variety of sports related injuries and the treatments and rehabilitation necessary to support the school's adolescent sportsmen and women.
  • As the School’s Physiotherapist you will also be required to provide physiotherapy for other non-sports related conditions.
