School Kitchen Assistant

  • Salary: 90 a day

We are looking for a dedicated School Kitchen Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing nutritious meals to our students, ensuring they have the energy to learn and grow. This position requires a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Collaborate with chefs to prepare and cook healthy meals for students.
  • Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner, while promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring all equipment and facilities are hygienic.
  • Assist with the ordering of necessary food and supplies to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • No specific educational requirements, but secondary school qualifications or equivalent are beneficial.
  • Completion of a food safety training course, such as a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not essential.
  • A friendly disposition and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • A commitment to promoting healthy eating and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
