We are lookin g for a HR Administrator t o work within a prestigious school based in Harrow

The role

As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function within the school, ensuring the smooth operation of all HR processes and procedures. You will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and other administrative tasks related to human resources.

The ideal candidate

  • To manage and deliver daily cover and deployment of staff.

  • Maintain the school's HR portal and MIS database (SIMS).

  • Ensure that records of attendance, leave of absence and annual leave are maintained on internal and external HR systems.

  • Input sickness and absence details onto SIMS and external HR system, meeting appropriate deadlines.

  • Ensure known staff medical conditions are up to date on SIMS.

  • Process staff casual, supply and additional hours claim forms on to external HR system meeting monthly payroll deadlines.

  • Process staff contracts and amendments to contracts i.e. appointments, resignations, redundancies, promotions, allowances and variation of hours etc.

  • Process payroll tasks such as maternity & paternity leave, jury service, parental leave and deal with any associated enquiries.

  • Full responsibility for keeping the back end of the academy’s MIS system (SIMS) payroll/HR information up to date including local government pension rates, NI etc

  • Process other associated payroll tasks and liaise with service providers:

  • To assist with monthly payroll reconciliation.

  • SIMS experience essential
