School based in East London are seeking a temporary Data and Assessment Manager to start work with them in the new term

This is all year round 35 hour per week.

Summary of the job

Ensuring the comprehensive administration, development and analysis of data-related management information for the School relating to the progress of students

To develop systems and databases to further the effectiveness of teaching and learning and school organisation

To aid senior and middle leaders in the use of performance information to identify strengths and weaknesses and priorities for improvement in order to help raise standards

Analysing and presenting data to inform strategic planning and target setting and to support the formulation and review of the School's Improvement Plan.

Managing, maintaining and developing an efficient and effective school Management Information System (MIS) and related analysis tools.

To construct and maintain the timetable in liaison with an identified member of the SLT

Developing clear, concise, accurate and timely information and reports for internal and external purposes and ensuring accurate and timely statutory data returns.

Ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and safeguarding the integrity of data.

Ideally the successful candidate will have worked in a similar position, in a school setting and have experience of using the SIMS MIS (or similar)

A DBS will be completed on the successful applicant unless a DBs is already held and subscribed to the update service
