Location: Medway

Contract Type: Full-time OR Part-time (day to day supply)

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the classroom during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absence.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Managing student behaviour and maintaining a safe and productive classroom.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous Experience: You must have experience as a Cover Supervisor, managing groups of students aged between 11 and 16. 
  • Flexibility: Adaptability and the ability to handle various subjects and year groups.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with students and staff.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
