GSL Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for our educational facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Ensuring the security of the premises by locking and unlocking doors, windows, and gates.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies, such as plumbing or electrical issues.
  • Coordinating with external contractors for larger maintenance projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a caretaker or facilities management role is preferred.
  • Strong practical skills with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or emergencies.
