School Caretaker

Reed Education are currently working in partnership with an Outstanding Special School in Wilmslow to recruit for a School Caretaker.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Key holding and managing the opening or closing of the school building.
• Performing cleaning, repairs, and maintenance to improve the school facilities and grounds.
• Working under the guidance of our Site Maintenance Manager to ensure operational excellence.
• Engaging in a variety of hands-on tasks that require practical skills and a proactive approach.
• Operating both independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge and previous experience in a trade or excellent DIY skills.
• Energetic, motivated, and hardworking with a hands-on approach to tasks.
• Good sense of humour, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work split shifts and adapt to the needs of the school.
