School Caretaker- Maidstone

Do you have experience caretaking or in site facilities?

We have an exciting opportunity for a School Caretaker in Maidstone. One of our lovely schools is recruiting for a School Caretaker, if you enjoy ensuring sites are safe, secure, tidy, and organised then this is the role for you. This is perfect for someone with previous experience who wishes to be part of a supportive team and working in a school environment.

A School Caretaker is generally responsible for:

  • Opening and closing the school, ensuring the site's safety
  • General hands-on maintenance including the grounds
  • Handling deliveries arriving and being distributed around the school
  • Occasional cleaning
  • Complying with health and safety regulations

Qualities we look for in a School Caretaker:

  • Previous experience as a Caretaker or in Site Facilities
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills
  • Understanding of health and safety
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Hold or willing to hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service

Information on the School Caretaker role:

Location- Maidstone

Pay- £14 per hour

Hours- 8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm Friday
