Job: School Business Manager

School: Secondary Academy, Southwark, Southeast London (inner London)

Annual Salary: Trust Senior Support Scale (S41 – S47) £55,832 - £65,817

Start date: April 2024 or as soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 52 weeks a year

Reporting to: Principal

Aston Education is looking for a permanent full-time School Business Manager (SBM) for a popular and growing 11-18 secondary school in Southwark.  

This role is part of the Senior Team, and the key responsibilities include the leadership of Finance, Premises, HR, ICT, Catering, Pupil Welfare, Health & Safety and Administration.

You have School Business Manager experience and a strong track record of managing financial operations and presenting financial reports/accounts to leadership teams.

You can operate strategically, communicate effectively and have passion for education. You have experience in leading and motivating teams and the ability to contribute to school improvement.

You have a qualification in School Business Management (ISBL) or significant School Business Manager experience. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualification and experience using SIMS and PS Financials would be beneficial.
