SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - TERM TIME ONLY
JOB TITLE – SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – TERM TIME ONLY (36 WEEKS)
LOCATION – KEW/RICHMOND
SALARY - £26,000 per annum (AFTER PRO RATA)
HOURS – 40 HRS 8AM TO 4.30PM WITH 30 MINUTES LUNCH
START DATE – 30TH AUGUST 2022

About the job
They are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to provide support in the School Office, and to members of the Administration Team. You will provide administrative support in non-academic areas, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations in the School Office, distribution of lunches, and a number of tasks set by other members of the Administration Team. As a member of the Administrative team you will provide routine general administrative assistance as required.
About you
You will have previous experience in administration, preferably within an independent school. You will be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above
- Previous administration experience
- Good ICT skills with an understanding of MS Office 365.
- A good command of the English language, and good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, particularly when dealing with parents
- A flexible approach, with the ability to respond positively to ad hoc requests from all members of staff
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work calmly and reliably in a busy school, both in a team and independently
- To undertake training as required
