Elevate are recruiting to appoint an experienced Scheme Manager on behalf of one of our clients. Key duties require being first point of contact to manage access to buildings for residents, contractors, and visitors, ensuring security of all areas and facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carrying out health and safety inspections of the building, recording outcomes in line with the service standards

- Monitoring accidents and incidents accurately following appropriate procedures

- Monitoring and advising tenants on the management of their accounts and arrears

- Carry out efficient inspections of the building, identifying security issues, maintenance and resolving repairs.

- Raise repairs, accordingly, facilitating access and guidance of affected areas to contractors.

- Carry out testing of communal areas for emergency lighting and fire fighting equipment in line with associations and health and safety processes.

Experience required:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Greater understanding and experience of health and safety issues and management.

- Knowledge and understanding of the housing and building management sector

- To understand data protection and confidentiality requirements

- Greater understanding of diversity and equality issuers

- Overall knowledge and experience of working with the elderly, general public and service providers.

- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

- Experience of facilities management

You will need to be flexible to cover out of hours emergencies etc, be able to drive and willing to travel and attend training courses as required.
