About the role:
Central Government department is on the lookout for a skilled Enterprise Technology Architect to join their Enterprise Architecture team. This role is focused on advancing the Digital Workplace domain, with a keen focus on Unified Communications and Collaboration/Messaging. As an integral part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to various architectural projects, leveraging your expertise in Unified Communications and Collaboration Strategy/Architecture to drive innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Unified Communications and Collaboration Strategy solutions within the UK Technology Architecture framework, ensuring alignment with client needs and departmental goals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of strategic client requirements to develop tailored Unified Communications and Collaboration Strategy patterns, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to create comprehensive architectures, offering expert technical guidance to stakeholders across the department.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Skype for Business Deployment and Management (Intermediate Level P2): Demonstrable experience in deploying, managing, and optimising Microsoft Skype for Business, ensuring effective communication channels within the organisation.
- Technology Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap Definition (Intermediate Level P2): Proven ability to develop and maintain technology architecture blueprints and roadmaps, guiding the strategic direction and technological advancements within the Digital Workplace domain.
- Unified Communications and Collaboration Strategy (Beginner Level P1): A foundational understanding of Unified Communications and Collaboration strategies, with the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
- Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight, with a strong focus on Unified Communications and Collaboration within a governmental setting. You should be adept at analysing complex requirements, crafting bespoke solutions, and providing leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the future of digital communication and collaboration strategies, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the department and its stakeholders.
