SC Cleared Automation Tester

Role: Automation Tester
Location: Leicester or Hursley 5 day per week onsite
Duration: 10 months
Clearance: SC
Rate: Max £337 pd inside IR35

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test automation for executing biometric workflows and matching.
• Execute tests on back-end web services, as the system lacks a user interface.
• Construct suitable input test messages and define expected outputs for diverse scenarios.
• Automate the creation of test inputs to expedite delivery processes.
• Conduct testing across functional and non-functional aspects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in test automation techniques and tools.
• Strong understanding of biometric workflows and matching processes.
• Experience in constructing input test messages and defining expected outputs.
• Ability to automate test input creation to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies, including performance and operability testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with biometric systems and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation.
• Experience in testing non-UI systems, particularly back-end web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
