Sales Team Manager (Contact Centre)

£35,000 - £37,500 + Bonus

Ashford - Hybrid 3 days WFH (after probationary period)

As a sales manager who enjoys leading by example and bringing the best out in others, you will encourage and lead your team to greatness. With your in-depth expertise and experience in sales coaching, you will set a high bar for excellent results and will work with each of your team to achieve the same. As a Sales expert you enjoy sharing best practice, identifying trends, refining sales tools and proactively looking at opportunities to continually improve.

Accountable for team results, you work tirelessly to improve. Analysis of performance on a regular basis allows you to implement effective initiatives to ensure your team always delivers to the best of its ability.

Duties & Responsibility

  • Accountability for team and individual targets, mentoring and coaching to ensure KPI achievement.
  • Act as a constant Company ambassador and always maintain strong floor presence.
  • Constant review of our systems, processes and reporting metrics, identifying solutions to improve efficiencies with continuous improvement in mind.
  • Create a high energy environment to drive optimum results by engaging the team using team meetings, Buzz sessions and incentives.
  • Uphold a positive, supportive, and engaging leadership style when communicating and rolling out changes/updates or driving new initiatives.
  • Act as a communication filter on business matters with full visibility and transparency to your team.
  • Always uphold a solution focused approach and add value in contribution to project groups through proven experience.
  • Completion and updating of weekly and monthly trackers, dashboards, reporting on business unit performance; taking accountability for team results.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and processes as well as insurance industry best practices and competitor activity.
  • Conduct meaningful 1-2-1 sessions with Agents; include coaching and development plans and work with individuals to improve performance.
  • Implement and drive motivational incentive programmes to reward high performance and recognise success.

Desired Skills & Experience / Knowledge

  • 2 years Sales Management/Team Leader experience
  • Proven expert in Sales and Coaching
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive, motivate and think creatively.
  • Ability to engage, evaluate, coach, and develop people and their performance.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic and demanding sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport across business with peers, subordinates, and supervisors, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiasm and drive to motivate team members and maintain a high performing culture.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders from across the business to implement operation-wide changes to process and procedure.
