Overview:

Our client is a highly successful and well-established distributor near Paisley. Do you have sales experience in building strong relationships within the trade industry across the central belt of Scotland? The successful applicant will be working with house building companies, builders, plumbers, and electricians. Does this sound like you?

Benefits and pay range:

  • £35,000 per annum (plus profit share bonus!) + car, laptop and mobile phone
  • Monday - Friday, Full time, permanent position
  • 25 days holiday (closed over Christmas and New Year) + bank holidays
  • Bonus dependent on profitability of the branch
  • Pension contribution up to 6%

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through regular appointments, site visits and calls.
  • Negotiate terms with procurement teams and buyers
  • Completing the sales cycle from start to finish: creating opportunities, client development, deal completion and closing
  • Develop and implement campaigns and outreach initiatives that align with company strategy
  • Maintain internal CRM with appropriate client and deal data
  • Work alongside internal team to maintain and develop pipeline

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in B2B/distributor sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude
