Mploy are working with a well-established and ambitious Training Service Provider in their search for a Sales & Marketing Executive. You will be self-motivated, reliable and dynamic as this role requires you to use your initiative and willingness to adapt to the demands of working in a small business and close the deal.

You will have an understanding about all sides of the business as this is imperative, as we you will develop and grow the business further.

As well as Sales you will develop various marketing strategies for the services, liaise with new customers, tender for work opportunities and track marketing and sales data in order to identify areas of improvement and best return on investment. In return there is true unlimited additional earning potential available with bonus incentives for hitting company sales and turnover targets.

You will:

  • Contribute information, ideas, and research to help develop the business and its brand through marketing strategies.
  • Develops sales strategies and approaches for various services, such as special promotions, new course and service offerings etc.
  • Help to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each service being offered.
  • Set marketing schedules and coordinate with colleagues and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels.
  • Manage website and Internet accounts, including social media content and Google Adwords.
  • Arrange meetings with new clients showcasing our services.
  • Point of contact for new customers and their accounts.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service.
  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
  • Create and present regular performance reports for management.
  • Attend trade shows in the UK or overseas, including the organising and managing of all stand criteria if exhibiting.
  • Travel to meet clients as needed - potentially overseas.

You will have:

  • A Marketing or Sales degree or similar

Additional skills (beneficial but not essential)

  • Knowledge of the Maritime Industry
  • Competent with Apple Mac computers

This role is office based in Hythe, Southampton. Expect for when travelling for meetings/trade shows etc.

40 hours per week Monday to Friday (this may vary to include travel, shows etc)

25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Salary, £25,000-30,000k per annum with unlimited additional earning potential, for the higher salary you will need to match the majority of the above.
