Technical Sales Manager – Subcontract Fabrication & Machining

Salary range £45,000 - £55,000 + car allowance + commission + hybrid

Warwickshire / Worcestershire / West Midlands Border.

Are you an experienced Technical Sales & New Business Development Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in Warwickshire? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking a full-time Technical Sales Manager for an established SME, subcontract precision engineering, Fabrication and machining business. This new position part of the senior leadership team will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the Works Manager.

This Technical Sales Manager appointment will be key to growing and maximising the sales potential of the company through the development of new business and attraction of new customers. The position will require an appreciation of “one off” small/medium batch, fast turnaround CNC machined or welded/fabricated parts supplying into the general engineering, MRO or prototyping sectors.

As Technical Sales Manager you will be involved in the following activities:

• Manage and plan the new business sales pipeline, direct all sales activities with a focus on increasing sales across both machining and fabrication applications
• Work with the Managing Director and Works Manager to develop a robust sales strategy and new business development plan to deliver ambitious growth targets
• Develop and manage a marketing strategy to increase awareness of the company within the Midlands and UK
• Report on weekly / monthly sales performance and activity against agreed targets
