Remuneration: £50,000 basic £60,000 OTE

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Area Sales Manager - Grilles, Diffusers and Louvres will involve:

• Field sales role selling a manufactured and distributed range of grilles, diffusers and louvres
• National remit, but 80% of your time will be South East focused
• Project focussed
• 50% specification sales led with M&E consultants and architects
• 50% managing relationships with M&E contractors, OEM, Marine, Nuclear and Distribution
• Working as the only dedicated field sales representative
• 70% new business development, 30% account management (approx. £2m pipeline over the next 2.5 years)
• 4 days a week on the road, one day admin/ home working (ideally in our clients’ South East premises every 2 weeks)
• Grow the business from current £3.5m/£3.8m to £4.2m in 2024
• Order values typically £15,000 but can range from £10,000-£250,000

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Grilles, Diffusers and Louvres with:

• HVAC/ building services industry experience with knowledge of; ventilation, diffusion, floor grilles, louvres, grilles, diffusers or louvres
• Proven track record of winning specification projects via M&E consultants or architects
• Also interested in any vertical market experience within OEM, Nuclear, Marine or Distribution
• New business tenacity and drive
• Technically capable
• A track record of dealing with refurbishment and new build projects
• Ability to work on own initiative and works well with others
• Self-motivated, good communicator and IT literate
