Our client is looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to their finance team.
Specific duties and responsibilities

  • Raise sales orders and sales invoices using Sage 50 accounting software.
  • Liasing with warehouses to ensure inventory levels are sufficient and reconciled to Sage
  • Investigating and resolving sales ledger account and inventory queries
  • Approving warehouse transport and storage payable invoices
  • Upload daily/weekly stock receipts
  • Ensure customer sales prices are up-to-date by working closely with account managers
  • Investigate and raise credit notes where appropriate.
  • Working closely with the parent company shipment and inventory team
  • Monitoring and managing imported inventory containers and registering on Sage.
  • Working with company accountant to ensure monthly reconciliations are accurate and timely.
  • Reporting closely with the Finance Director to achieve company goals.
  • Ad-hoc duties when required.


Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in raising sales invoices.
  • Sage 50 experience is a necessity.
  • Stock management experience is advantageous but not a necessity at this stage.
  • The ability to use own initiative.


Remuneration and working conditions
The working hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday with a 1-hour break for lunch.Hybrid working work is available for the position.A smart, casual appearance is a condition of employment. A target apportioned bonus forms part of the annual remuneration.
