Sales Ledger Clerk

Robert Half are excited to be working with an industry leading organisation to recruit an accounts receivable clerk, based full-time in office, in Caerphilly.

They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £30K + flex start and finish times + onsite parking + more.

Key tasks

The role's core objective is to Ensure all invoices are sent out weekly via the business system.

Actively contact Customers regarding payments on the telephone and via email.

Reconcile AR ledger monthly.

Tasks and responsibilities;

• Record receipts received daily on bank and system
• Check monthly statements and contact customers with any queries
• Maintain Monthly Export file to ensure HMRC Duty requirements are met
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger
• Help with Trade Agreement documents in system when required
• Run foreign exchange revaluation at month end
• Audit Filing of delivery notes/Invoices with goods outwards
• Monitor Bank statements daily
• Intercompany netting from related companies
• Send collection statements
• Updating account information and records of clients
• Assisting with Audits internal and external
• Compile monthly financial reports
• Assist with any other ad-hoc finance issues when requested
• Set up Customers in business system

Desired Profile:

• Desire to learn new tasks outside of AR, to offer cover within the department.
• Previous Account Receivable experience essential
• Intermediate Excel
• MS Dynamics 365 experience desirable
