We are currently working with a reputable business based in the Loughborough area who are seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to work within the finance function. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for not only building customer relationships but carrying out various administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Allocating incoming payments
Updating and posting in the cash books
Chasing outstanding monies and building customer relationships
Setting up new customer accounts
Dealing with any customer queries
General administration
Ideal candidate:
Previous experience ideally within a finance function
Strong communication skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
Team player
Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise
