Sales Executive
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE + bonus
Location: Sheffield

The Opportunity
You’ll be part of one the oldest and most established steel suppliers in the UK, supporting and assisting their growth within the industry, building long-term and lasting relationships with existing clients. There are clear routes to progression, both professionally and personally all whilst kick-starting and elevating your career within the industry.

The Role
You will drive a customer-centric approach to capitalising on new opportunities. One of the main focus areas is to increase spend frequency and portfolio worth by ensuring all SLA’s are met on time and in full.
Furthermore:
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Follow leads from marketing and head office
  • Produce quotations based on agreed commercials
  • Provide outstanding customer service with a “best in class” focus

The Ideal Candidate
You must have at least two years’ worth of sales experience, either face-to-face or within an office-based environment. At this stage in your career, you will be well versed in delivering exceptional customer service and have a focus on delivering best practice within a sales environment. It goes without saying that you’ll have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, along with:
  • The ability to engage with stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills, with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A focus on developing new business either via existing accounts, qualified leads or self generation
